Our agency has been serving clients with Personal and Commercial Insurance for over 25 years.

Jodi has been licensed in the insurance field since 1998.  She started working with Independent agencies from the beginning of her Insurance career.  Jodi believes that an Independent Agency is the best way to help her clients because she is able to represent multiple companies, not just one.

In 2007,  Jodi earned and received the designation of Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC), which has national recognition and signifies a higher professional level of experience and competence.

Jodi has owned the agency since July 1, 2009. She is able to generate proposals for multiple companies quickly, and then works with each client to determine their coverage needs.  The end result is a client with a tailored policy with the most competitive rate and the best coverage available.

Jodi got married to John “Kevin” Cole and moved back to IL in September 2023.

Armer Insurance, Inc. is based out of Jodi’s home office in Decatur. 

Prior to that, she lived in FL for 18 months from April 2022 – Sept 2023, and had her office in Tavares, FL while she resided in Daytona Beach.  Jodi is licensed in both IL and FL and will serve clients in both states.  Prior to that, she had an office in Decatur for over 7 years in the Millikin Court Building, and 2 years on Main Street.

Jodi’s daughter, Elizabeth, obtained her Insurance License in January 2019. Elizabeth is now an air traffic controller residing in Ohio and prior to that was a 911 dispatcher for Macon County in Decatur, IL.  She will also continue to keep her Insurance license.
